About Our Accessible Yoga Teacher Certification

Our bodies aren't meant to conform to specific shapes in our yoga practice. Quite the contrary, we have to adapt our yoga postures to suit our bodies. Yoga poses are not one-size-fits-all. It's important to understand what accessible yoga is, common issues people in larger bodies experience while practicing and how we can use appropriate body-friendly language to adapt postures for each and every body. This course is open to anyone and everyone. If you're a yoga teacher, you can earn 20 hours of continuing education. You can also take this course to learn how to adapt postures for your body.

With our all-inclusive yoga teacher training, you will gain the knowledge and confidence to create an accessible yoga practice. Our educational program will help you develop the tools needed to make your classes inclusive and enjoyable for all bodies and abilities. Yoga for all body types starts with fostering an inclusive, safe environment for your students.
